About Boca Raton FL Mold Remediation
Boca Raton FL Mold Remediation is a water damage, mold and storm restoration business based at 5461 N Dixie Hwy, Boca Raton, FL 33487. The address sits on the mainland side of the city, a short drive from the Intracoastal and the barrier island, in a city where water arrives from the ocean, from the canal system and from plumbing that has been in place for decades. That is the work: getting a building dry, removing what cannot be saved, and documenting what was found so the next conversation starts from evidence.
What we do, and what we do not do
There are four services on this site. Mold remediation covers containment, removal of affected material and correction of the moisture source. Water damage repair covers water removal, extraction, drying and the repairs inside our scope. Water extraction has its own page because standing water is often the first and most urgent call, and it also appears as a named phase inside water damage repair. Storm damage restoration covers wind and rain intrusion after a storm, including water leak detection.
What we do not do matters just as much. We are not plumbers, roofers, electricians, glaziers or general contractors. When a supply line has failed, a roof is open, a window no longer seals or a room needs rebuilding, we identify the component, dry what can be dried and hand the repair to the trade that owns it. We put that hand-off in writing.
How a job is run
Every job starts with a call in which we ask what is wet, where the water came from and whether it is still running. That conversation decides what to shut off, what to keep clear and whether the visit is urgent. On site we read the affected rooms with meters, scan concealed areas with a thermal camera where the wall or ceiling is suspect, and compare each reading with a dry reference of the same material. Reading points are marked by room and location so the same spot can be checked again.
From there the sequence is consistent. Stop the source where that is possible and safe. Remove standing water. Remove material that is saturated or contaminated and cannot be dried. Set air movers, dehumidifiers and cavity drying against the readings. Monitor, adjust, and compare the final numbers with day one. At hand-back you get the photographs and the readings, plus a plain statement of what remains for another trade.
How we read a Boca Raton building
The city has several building generations, and each holds water differently. A Mizner-era house may have stucco over wood frame, a 1970s villa has concrete block and a low roof, a barrier-island condo has a concrete frame and a shared plumbing stack, and a 1990s two-storey house in the west has a second-floor bathroom over a garage or a hallway. Before any equipment goes down we ask the age of the building, where the water appeared first and what is below and beside that point.
In a condo we read the unit boundary, in a villa we read the shared wall, and in an older house we read the wall cavity as well as the surface. That first reading decides whether the job is extraction, drying, containment or a hand-off to another trade. It also decides what we photograph, because the record has to show the same boundary to an owner, a neighbour and an association.
What a first visit looks like
The visit starts with the story of the water and a walk through the affected rooms. We photograph the area before moving anything, mark reading points, and take a dry reference in an unaffected part of the same material. If a ceiling or a wall is suspect, we scan it with a thermal camera and confirm with a meter before opening it.
You get a plain explanation of what is wet, what is not and what the next step is. If the answer is that the repair belongs to a plumber or a roofer, we say so at that point rather than after equipment has been set. The written scope follows the same order: source, affected material, drying plan, then the trades that own the rest.
Where we work
We work from 5461 N Dixie Hwy in Boca Raton and cover eight towns within about nine miles: Highland Beach, Delray Beach, Boca Del Mar, Deerfield Beach, Whisper Walk, Sandalfoot Cove, Mission Bay and Lighthouse Point. Six are in Palm Beach County and two, Deerfield Beach and Lighthouse Point, are in Broward County. We do not list towns we cannot reach sensibly from this address, and we do not pretend to have offices we do not have.
What this site does not claim
We do not publish a licence number, a certification, an insurance certificate, a founding year, staff biographies, project counts or customer reviews, because none of those are facts this business has given us to state. We also do not present an air sample as proof of our own work. If you want independent clearance testing, that is a separate specialist service, and we will tell you honestly on the call what we can and cannot do about it.
How to reach us
The number is (561) 960-0937, and it reaches the business at the address shown in the footer of every page. If you call, describe what is wet, where it came from and whether water is still running. If you are not sure whether the problem is a repair or a restoration job, describe it anyway; we will tell you which trade it belongs to before anyone books a visit.
- A moisture assessment before any removal is proposed
- A written scope that separates emergency work from permanent repair
- Containment and HEPA filtration where growth is disturbed
- Photographs and readings kept in sequence
- A named hand-off when the repair belongs to another trade
